Cosimo’s universe was built from a constellation of references shared between friends.

We enlisted the brilliant fine artist and designer Jennifer Blaine to explore our cosmos through a fine art lens. References include Hilma af Klint, Jean Cocteau, and the iron work Jennifer has collected photographs of on her walks around Brooklyn. Party Girl, Agnes Varda, Yohji Yamamoto are also repeat moodboard offenders.

Cosimo’s universe began with Jean Cocteau. Cocteau’s work reaches across cinema, poetry, fine art, theater, and literature to create worlds at once absurd, intimate, and all encompassing.

We were drawn first to his drawings, their whimsical line work tattooed on everything- sketchbooks, napkins, the walls of his bedroom.

We saw Cosimo written as a love note or a grocery list, the scrawl of a practiced hand.

Cosimo was dreamed for you by Emily Morabito Lacey, stylist and designer.

After studying Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design and working for independent designers around NYC & Brooklyn, Emily returned home to the lowcountry to build her career around retail and styling.

Emily finds herself deeply in love with Savannah and passionate about collaborating with the city’s creative community to build a designed fashion space.

Cosimo’s perspective comes from years of experience dressing creatives for busy, beautiful lives.
