Friends, we are so sad to say this but the two of us have made the difficult decision to close The Circle. Your support over the years has been unbelievable and we couldn't have made it this long without you. We survived all the COVID shutdowns and the confusion that came with it during our first years in business but sadly these last several months have been difficult for us and after last week's series of unfortunate events we're unable to move forward as The Circle. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝑺𝑶 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑. 𝑾𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒊𝒓𝒄𝒍𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒘𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌. The Circle truly almost made it, but we took one more blow after everything else that made us realize that we can not keep this up anymore.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲!😭 We would not exist without you. The last several days have been so scary for us. We were hit with a shocking bill on Friday afternoon that took everything we had for our normal overhead expenses and then some. We do not have a safety net and don't qualify for loans, so we had to ask all of you for help and 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐲, 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞❤ 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚. 𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽! As you may know, we started The Circle over 3 years ago to bring a welcoming, magical, and supportive space to our community. We committed ourselves to building that dream and have done so entirely self-funded. Unfortunately, we couldn't foresee that a global pandemic and then a following recession would continue to affect us three years later, but here we are. We worked full-time jobs and dedicated the majority of our personal income towards the store for the first year and a half, much of which we had to stay closed due to covid restrictions. Eventually, as things started to return to our new normal we were able to grow our store, our shop fam, and our studio as well as leave our full-time jobs to focus on making magic for you all. We want The Circle to be here for many years to come so we can grow our class offerings, make more magic, create community art projects, and continue seeing all of you come through! As you may know, we run a small (and messy!) textile studio behind the shop. Our dream for The Circle has always been to blend our art with our lifestyle and spiritual practices in one space. This may sound wild, and we definitely don't have any other shop blueprints to take inspo from, but it's who we are and what we're doing👋🏼 Join us as we bring some of our personal studio into the front of the store to give you hands-on, drop-in style textile experiences!
