Join us with one of our most favorite local authors, Shugri Salh, for a reading of their new children’s book ‘Suuban’s First Day’. released her first book ‘The Last Nomad’ in 2021 to amazing success. In it she painted a beautiful picture of her youth alongside her nomadic grandmother in the Somali Desert and the war that brought her to seek refuge in America where she had to begin life anew. You can expect another beautifully written story in her next venture.
