For the wine lover who appreciates things that age well. E. Martino’s still-life on canvas, framed in a dark bronze ornate frame that leans all the way into the old world appeal of the painting.

Lisbon in three tiles: the tram, colorful fish and cats on the old stairs. And our client wanted to bring all of that home to San Francisco properly.

We set the three tiles in a row on a sand textured mat that gives the whole piece a warm, beachy feel and balances the two colorful tiles with the black and white tram tile beautifully. A mediterranean slightly glossy teal frame ties it all together and keeps that summer feeling alive. Finished with Optium Museum Acrylic for crispy clear, glare free viewing and shatterproof protection because in San Francisco that last part just makes sense.

A happy place, framed. 🌊🚃🐱

A scoop profile frame in a weathered rust finish, gold shimmering through at the rubbed edges, that was the starting point for this one.
The print numbered 55/100, pencil signed by Mexican artist Leticia Tarragó, and the earthy tones of her whimsical, dreamlike imagery called for a frame with that kind of warmth and character. An 8-ply vellum mat adds a generous margin of white that gives the print room and dimension without competing with the art. Museum glass with 99% UV protection and almost zero reflection finishes it so cleanly it looks like the glass isn’t there.

Sixty years of the Grateful Dead, and last summer Dead & Company brought it all back home with three nights at Golden Gate Park. This is a celebration poster from that run, and it came to us already carrying a lot of San Francisco history.
We kept the framing simple and let the art do what it does. A black Ribbed Tribeca frame with just enough visual texture to nod to the era without competing with the poster. We added a spacer between the art and the glass to keep everything breathing, then finished it with anti-glare museum glass and 99% UV protection so those colors with Haight-Ashbury print shop vibes stay exactly as they are.
Some posters are decoration - This one is a piece of this city. 🌹

Harvey Milk Day 2026 🌈 Happy Birthday Harvey Milk. Born May 22, 1930.

Harvey Milk moved to the Castro in 1972 and opened a camera store on Castro Street. He ran for office three times before winning a seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977, becoming one of the first openly gay elected officials in the United States. He was assassinated a year later, but what he started here has never stopped.

We were honored to frame an original campaign poster from his 1976 run for California State Assembly - A piece of San Francisco history!

We wanted to make this feel as special as the meal was. The three pieces are float mounted in a loose arrangement inside a ½” deep shadowbox, so instead of a flat presentation you get something with real dimension and presence on the wall. The mat is a marine blue silk fabric with a beautiful sheen and a subtle texture that plays off the gray tones of the printed type on the menus beautifully. The frame is a silver finish wood with a visible grain, which brings warmth and a playfulness to what could otherwise read as too formal. The grain breaks up the silver in just the right way.

Finished with Optium Museum Acrylic, UV filtered and optically clear, so the colors and the details stay sharp for as long as the memory does.

The California quail is our state bird and the California poppy our state flower. Seattle artist Molly Hashimoto captured both in this woodblock print, and it felt right at home the moment it came through our door.

We float mounted the deckled edge print in a clear maple frame, keeping the design light and contemporary so the colors of the print could do all the talking. The natural wood grain and warm tone of the maple sit quietly around the piece without competing with it. The frame is domestic hardwood from Colorado, sourced responsibly and composting 95% of their waste. That is good reason for us!

Thirty years of Hashimoto’s work connecting people to the natural west, and this one belongs on a California wall. 🌿
