"The '15,000 litres per kg of beef' figure is one of the most misleading numbers in modern environmental discourse.

Here's what it actually contains.

Around 94% of it is "green water." Rainfall that falls on the pasture whether the cow is there or not. The grass absorbs it. The cow drinks a little from the stream. The cow returns most of it to the soil as urine, which grows more grass. The water never leaves the local water cycle.

Roughly 4% is "blue water." Surface and groundwater the cow actually drinks from troughs or pumped sources. On a British pasture system with streams and rainfall, this number is close to zero.

The remaining 2% is "grey water," a theoretical figure for diluting any pollution, which on rainfed pasture is essentially negligible.

So the real "water cost" of pastured beef, the water that wouldn't exist as part of the food system without the cow, is a tiny fraction of the headline number.

Meanwhile a kilo of almonds takes around 16,000 litres of irrigation water from California aquifers that are visibly draining on satellite imagery. A kilo of rice requires 2,500 litres of standing irrigation. A kilo of avocados drains a Mexican watershed.

The cow is being charged for the rain. The almond is using actual water.

The number was never the whole story."

The Scientific Evidence Justifies Banning Glyphosate

The primary scientific study pesticide regulators worldwide used to justify the approval of Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup and many other herbicides, has been retracted due to fraud.

This study, by Gary Williams, Robert Kroes, and Ian Munro, was used to cast doubt on the numerous published studies showing that Glyphosate caused cancers and many other diseases.

Why are we demonizing cattle while worshipping data centers?

Look at the difference:

Regeneratively raised cattle (rotational grazing):
Build soil organic matter and sequester carbon in the ground
Improve water infiltration, reduce erosion & runoff
Boost biodiversity (plants, insects, wildlife)
Restore degraded lands and mimic natural herds
Produce nutrient-dense food while enhancing the ecosystem
Data centers (powering AI, streaming, cloud):
Massive electricity demand (projected to surge dramatically — equivalent to millions of homes)
Huge water consumption for cooling (hundreds of millions to billions of gallons annually in the US, often in stressed areas)
Significant carbon emissions tied to power generation
Land use for facilities and infrastructure with heat/pollution impacts

While false accusations are raised against the innocent cow, a real threat is mounting with little alarm. Like and share if you agree that we need MORE cattle and less computers.
