A piece of history, reimagined for a new generation.

The Saint Philip was created alongside former Green Beret Nick Freitas as a tribute to the legacy of the V-42 and the men whose service helped make it an enduring symbol of Special Forces heritage.

From the beginning, this was meant to be something special. A collaboration rooted in faith, service, American craftsmanship, and a shared respect for those who came before us.

We’re incredibly grateful for the response to the Saint Philip, and we wanted to let you know that only a limited supply remains.

If this collaboration and the story behind it have meant something to you, now is a good time to make it part of your collection.

The Saint Philip. Dawson Knives × Nick Freitas.

Available while the remaining supply lasts.

The details are what make the Marauder one of our most popular models.

Designed as a serious backpacking and outdoor utility tool, the Marauder gives you the capability you want in the backcountry without carrying more than you need. Its size makes it versatile enough for everything from campsite prep and processing kindling to the everyday cutting tasks that come with time outdoors.

But look closer and you’ll see what makes it a Dawson.
The blade geometry, handle contours, precision fit and finish, and carefully considered balance are all built around one thing: creating a tool that feels as good in the hand as it performs in the field. Every detail has a purpose, backed by the craftsmanship our family has spent three generations refining.

Purpose built. Meticulously crafted. Made to be used.

There’s a reason the Marauder has earned its place as a Dawson favorite.

Built to catch your eye. Made to earn its place in your everyday carry.

The Contractor and Smuggler are two of our most popular EDC models for a reason. Every detail is intentional, from the lines of the blade to the fit and finish in your hand. They’re pieces of American craftsmanship you can appreciate every time you pick them up.

But we’ve never believed craftsmanship should come at the expense of capability.

These are purpose-built tools, made to be carried, used, and trusted when conditions get tough. Whether it’s everyday work, time in the field, or miles off the beaten path, the Contractor and Smuggler were built to perform.

Beautifully crafted. Purpose built. Ready for the real world.

Which one are you carrying: Contractor or Smuggler?

Don’t let the size fool you.

The Companion may be the smallest blade in Dawson’s lineup, but it wasn’t built to sit on a shelf.

With a 2.625” blade, the Companion is made for the everyday tasks that call for a dependable tool. From opening packages and cutting rope to preparing kindling, handling campsite chores, and tackling the little jobs that come up throughout the day.

Compact enough to keep close. Capable enough to earn its place in your everyday kit.

Small in size. Big on purpose. Built to be used.

Some designs become more than the tools they were created to be. They become symbols.

The V-42 is one of them.

Created during World War II for the First Special Service Force, the joint American-Canadian unit known as the Devil’s Brigade, the V-42 became inseparable from the identity of the men who carried it.

That legacy didn’t end with World War II.

U.S. Army Special Forces traces its heritage to organizations including the First Special Service Force, and the V-42 remains represented in Special Forces heraldry today. The dagger centered over the crossed arrows on the Special Forces crest represents the V-42 and the unconventional warfare heritage carried forward from those who came before.

More than 80 years later, its silhouette still represents a legacy of service, sacrifice and those willing to answer a difficult call.

The V-42 isn’t just a piece of history. It’s a symbol of the Special Forces heritage that continues today.
