🦎 **Reptile Care Reminder!** 🦎

Did you know that UVB bulbs should be replaced every **6–12 months**, even if the bulb is still lighting up?

Over time, UVB bulbs continue to produce visible light, but the **UVB output that reptiles need gradually decreases**. This means your reptile may not be getting the proper UVB exposure required for healthy bone growth, calcium metabolism, and overall well-being.

✅ Replace most UVB bulbs every 6–12 months (check the manufacturer's recommendations).
✅ Keep bulbs clean and free of dust.
✅ Make sure there is no glass or plastic between the bulb and your reptile, as these materials can block UVB rays.

A bulb that looks like it's working may no longer be providing the UVB your reptile needs!
