Our high quality 47 MM Advantage French Silver oboe staples are consistent and beautifully finished. The walls are polished and hand-scribed to help keep cane secured during tying. They produce a stable, warm and resonant sound. These staples fit well on a Chiarugi 2 or Loree style mandrel.

Some shapes that we have found to work well with these staples include Pfeiffer-Mack, Mack+, Mack ++, Jeanne Standard, RDG -1, RDG 1, Samson +1, Joshua +2.

One of our more popular oboe reed staples, the French silver 47mm staple features a polished hand scribed nickel silver tube, natural cork, with flat end.
