My dear friend Stephanie (formerly of fame, now of hidden Portland gem ) used to have a sign splashed across the sidewalk in front of her shop on Belmont St…”You are on the precipice of unknown delights!” It’s a phrase that always comes to mind whenever I pass through the doors of this fabulous artistic haven. Maybe we’ll have to steal it!

Did you know that there is only one place to buy Lotte clothing outside of the quimper peninsula? And it’s hilariously in an even more remote place? 😊My dear friend runs a postage stamp of a store called .sji located just off the main drag in adorable Friday Harbor. You can find a colorful & ever rotating assortment of my pieces there, alongside her gorgeous jewelry & vibrant works of art (.merrick ). If you should be so lucky to find yourself on , do stop in! I’m so honored & thankful to be represented in that beautiful place & by such an amazing friend & human. ❤️🙏🏼

Hi, friends! I’m way overdue for a day of indigo dying. I realized with my new studio hours this is the perfect time to invite my community to share in the experience. So this week I’ll plan to have the dye vat going out front. Feel free to swing by on Friday to watch the process (It’s magical! You’ll know what I mean when you see it!). OR even better!- bring along a garment you’d like to dye (rubber gloves are handy, alternatively I’m happy to dip it for ya😊). I like to over-dye stained garments to give them new life, or maybe you’d like to zhuzh up a white t-shirt? Be creative! Natural fibers only (think cotton, silk, linen). See you out there! 💙
