tience and perseverance. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge, creativity and insight with those who are interested in finding connection within community and nature. I have been experimenting with natural botanical dyes off and on for over 10 years. Although still a novice, I enjoys seeing what magic and wonder plants hold and how they can transform their aliveness into wearable garments. I am a former middle school art teacher, owned a brick and mortar vintage clothing store, and am now the current creator and owner of The Natural Dye Co.

WOW! What an amazing, beautiful, creative day at Waterloo Farm and Dewey School Museum! My heart is bursting! This was the first time teaching this workshop, and there was a lot of information and a lot of process to take in and I couldn’t be more proud of this group! Their textiles turned out absolutely stunning and I loved seeing how unique each shibori pattern looked during the reveal. I am truly BLESSED to have so many people in this little natural dye community who show up, talk, make friends, and create something beautiful together. A big thank you to WAHS for hosting this event and giving me the opportunity to do what I love, and so much gratitude to everyone who participated today. You are such a huge part of my healing journey and I am so grateful to have you in my orbit 💫🌼🐝 ‘Til next time!

Happy World Bee Day! Love our bees, take care of them, and when you see them, thank them for all the hard work they do!
🍎🐝- Bees are responsible for pollinating a third of the food we eat
🌸🐝 - Bees fertilize 75% of flowering plants, allowing them to reproduce
🌊🐝 - Bees help control soil erosion, maintain clean waterways, and support carbon storage by way of sustaining plant life

It was such a joy to be invited back to Silver Maples of Chelsea Retirement Neighborhood last week as part of the “A Seat at the Table” art pop-up initiative presented by Curiouser Clay! In this workshop we created bundle dyed scarves and bandanas and I absolutely love how everyone’s turns out so different. Thanks for having me back and I hope to see you all again soon ☺️🌸🐝

🌸✨ Spring is coming, and I'm ready to celebrate warmth, flowers, and natural dyes with you! ✨🌸

I'm opening up bookings for natural dye workshops for May and would LOVE to bring a class to your community, backyard, celebration, or business.

Something really magical happens when we gather together to make beautiful textiles using flowers and plants. And what better way to welcome Spring?!

Wow-wee! I am thrilled to announce I'll be offering 3 natural dye workshops as part of an INCREDIBLE project presented by Curiouser Clay — "A Seat at the Table," a pop-up art residency coming to the Pitch Haus in Chelsea this June! I'm so honored to be part of this neighborhood project and can't wait to come together in the spirit of learning, creativity, and community. NDCo. is hosting two workshops in April to create textiles for the event (plus one to take home!), and a third during the main event in June. Come to one or come to all! Today was absolute magic! I had the good fortune to teach this wonderful group of folks how to create dyes from the kitchen. Everyone’s flour sack towel turned out gorgeous! My favorite part were the collective oooooh’s and aahhhh’s as each participant revealed their shibori design. Thank you all for joining me today and giving me the opportunity to do what I love! A big thank you to MK Photography for doumenting me doin’ my thing! And thank you to Agricole Farm Stop for providing the perfect space to bring this little dye community together 🥑🧅💦

Another amazing workshop for the books! Thank you Marion Township Garden Club and all the gals who showed up to NDCo.’s bundle dye workshop on Tuesday night—what an absolute DELIGHT! The class was so much fun and everyone’s scarves turned out beautiful! 🌸🪲🌼
