Wooo!
And....we're back!
I apologize, the last week has been a Whirlwind!
I'm still here though.
Team Black Label RC ran the Wild West Oval Shootout at Hobby Action Raceway this past weekend and while no hardware was attained valuable setup knowledge was gained for the BLRC Stinger 27 sprint chassis and the Manzy Aero sprint body.
Brian Liebig ran his in the 305 (Hobbywing 13.5 Justock) class and I ran mine in 410 (Outlaw).
Brian, despite feeling like the car was slow, qualified straight to the A-main as he worked on setup over the weekend starting and finishing 5th. He was also running his Midget and we were both running two of his CW Rocket 5.1's in the Pro (open) Late Model class.
I was out-talented in the fastest classes we run but after some time working on the Stinger 27 setup (endlessly) I had a solid handling car, just didn't quite have the speed and topped out starting and finishing 4th in the D-main. At least I didn't qualify into the E.
Not bad for the first time running these cars on high bite.
I've always struggled at this track and this was a proving race for the new car.
My Rawspeed Racing soft slicks were on point most of the weekend with ABSOLUTELY no traction rolling issues and eventually transitioned to Mclovins on the right side which were equally hooked!
We'll be debuting the BLRC Phoenix 27 chassis early next year as a Midwest Modified and will return to the Wild West Shootout next fall as Late Models.
With all the b***y work I neglected to take any pictures but got a short video of the facility and the track that I'll post later.

Losi 5iveT adjustable and fixed wings are back in stock!
I'll be increasing production on them next week so they don't go out of stock anymore.
