Needohs have definitely become one of the most talked-about toys in our shop… so we wanted to pull back the curtain on how we handle them. 💛

Our goal has always been simple: get these into the hands of as many kids (and people who genuinely love them) as possible.

That’s why we don’t do holds, phone orders, or online orders, and why we sometimes quietly put smaller shipments on the shelves instead of announcing them. We never know exactly what or when our shipments are arriving, and we set purchase limits based on what comes in so more families have a chance.

We also discourage buying Needohs just to resell them. We’d much rather see them become someone’s new favorite toy than disappear online at a markup.

Thanks for helping us keep things fun, fair, and centered around the kids. 💛

Play IS learning. 💚 As a former educator, I have so much respect for teachers and the incredible role they play in a child’s life. They pour into our kids every single day, and classrooms are such an important part of learning.

But they were never meant to be the ONLY place children learn.

One of the hardest parts of watching education shift to Zoom during 2020 was seeing just how much children missed when learning became confined to a screen. So much of childhood happens through movement, imagination, collaboration, exploration, and simple moments of play.

You learn while building a fort, pretending to run a restaurant, figuring out how to share, getting muddy, asking a hundred questions, and discovering something new simply because you were curious enough to try.

Many people see play as a time filler. We see it as a key part of development and childhood learning. We believe children deserve both. Incredible teachers and endless opportunities to learn through play.

Because the world is the classroom, too 💚

Let children play. 💚

Not because it fills time. Not because it’s cute. Because it’s how they learn.

Today they’re playing mermaids. Tomorrow they’ll be explorers, veterinarians, chefs, astronauts, or whatever their imagination dreams up next.

Play is where confidence is built, curiosity grows, problem solving begins, friendships are formed, and creativity takes root.

The world is asking kids to grow up faster than ever. We believe they deserve more time to simply be children.

So let them play mermaids. Build the fort. Mix the pretend soup. Ask a hundred questions. Get a little messy.

Play isn’t something children earn after learning. Play is how they learn. 💚

Pocket full of sunshine. Arms full of stuffies… Close enough. 🤭

Stuffies are so underrated. They’re the brave sidekick at the doctor’s office, the co-pilot on every road trip, the best listener after a hard day, the star of countless tea parties, and the comfort waiting at bedtime.

They’re more than something soft to cuddle. They help children process big emotions, build confidence, encourage imaginative play, and create memories that last for years.

Around here, we think every childhood deserves a favorite stuffy (or five).

And they certainly make a cloudy day a little brighter, no matter how dark the cloud was. Be sure to stop by for a little pick me up for your Wildlings soon ☀️ 💛
