For Moon Joy June and this week’s theme, Launch, I’m sharing ‘End of an Era’.

The final Space Shuttle launch, STS-135 in 2011, marked the close of one chapter in exploration and helped pave the way for the next.

The sky is pieced from 14 different blue fabrics in memory of the 14 astronauts lost in the Challenger and Columbia accidents.
