It's been 5 years hobby family. At this time Palm Desert Hobbies llc has decided to move out and not renew the lease. Does this mean we're gone? Yes and no. First I want to say, my family and I want to say...thank you to our loyal good customers! This has been a dream to me and my kids. Thank you to Gerry RIP our angel investor. Unfortunately at this time the "hobbyconomy" nationwide is at an all time low. Margins have been cut and cost of overhead increasing. It was a financial decision to move before the summer. The building needed improvements as well and PDH could not front the costs. Although this location is gone were still going to be here by appointment to help with your hobby needs. Please understand our policies may change. If you have repairs or need parts we are slowly organizing what we have (a full shop) into a temporary location. After the summer is over our plan is to re open in a more affordable location. If you'd like to continue to have a hobby shop your support is needed and appreciated. We are also working on the website and although the name will change at some point we will be uploading inventory for purchase online. If you have repairs or consignments please be sure to know we have them and are organizing them and should be able to take appointments starting mid to end of this week.
