Kid’s Sewing Summer camp this week included:

Sew proud of these new quilters! Our last class is next week to sew on the bindings of their beautiful 1st quilt!!

Next Beginner Quilting class starts in the fall and runs for 8 weeks. I teach you all the steps to help make your first quilt fun! Come join us. :)

FireGlow by has arrived in the shop and I ripped right into it immediately.

I couldn’t wait to make a Range Backpack with the canvas.

All The Things Tote Class

We are also teaching one of my other favorite bag patters, the All the Things Tote! This bag holds my travel machine perfectly, but it’s also great for groeceries, paperwork, fabric, yarn, kids toys, you know…..ALL THE THINGS!

The class also meets for 2 days: 2 hours on Tuesday to get our pieces cut and a start on the quilting. Then we’re back on Friday to complete the construction. This gives us an opportunity to stay fresh and not get too wiped out during the process.

If you have taken our BootCamp classes, try this class too. No zipper on this one, but you still learn fun skills like quilting and binding.

Project Bag 2.0 Class

Join us next Tuesday & Thursday and make your own project bag. This bag is great to hold your work-in-progress tools and fabrics, or use it for traveling to keep things organized. I think I have at least 10 project bags being used for various things. They are super handy.

The class meets for 2 days: 2 hours on Tuesday to get our pieces cut and a start on the quilting. Then we’re back on Thursday to complete the construction. This gives us an opportunity to stay fresh and not get too wiped out during the process. No one can sew straight when they’re tired!!

If you have taken our BootCamp classes, try this class next! Zippers aren’t scary and you’ll get experience working with vinyl, a little quilting and binding. So many new techniques. Yay!!
