May is Apraxia Awareness Month and OYC is an official Cause Partner of helping to raise awareness and support!

Wondering what Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is? CAS is a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to speak. Children with the diagnosis generally have a good understanding of language and know what they want to say. However, they have difficulty learning or carrying out the complex sequenced movements that are necessary for speech.

The Spring Shawl Make-along starts today!

Use yarn bought at OYC to crochet or knit ANY shawl pattern, then post your finished object by May 31 and tag us to be entered into a raffle for an OYC gift card! Make more than one shawl in May? Get more than one raffle entry!

We will have a celebration during Stitch Night on Thursday, June 4th where we will announce the winner. You do not need to be here to win, but we're pretty fun to hang out with, just sayin. 😉
