✨ Artist Spotlight: Andrea Turini ✨

Andrea Turini creates jewelry rooted in process, place, and careful handwork. Her designs bring together beadwork traditions, Czech glass, natural stones, and subtle geometry — pieces built slowly, one component at a time.

Much of Andrea’s work starts with structure and pattern, then opens up to color and texture. Whether working with woven seed beads, hand-selected stones, or sculptural focal elements, she’s drawn to balance — between precision and softness, repetition and variation.

Her jewelry is made to be worn and lived in, with an emphasis on thoughtful construction and materials that feel good over time. Each piece reflects both the discipline of craft and the quiet joy of making.

💍 Artist Spotlight: Jenny Nunnelee 💍

Based in Elko New Market, Jenny Nunnelee has been creating jewelry professionally since 1999. A Minnesotan metalsmith, she works primarily in sterling silver and incorporates natural stones gathered from around the Great Lakes.

For Jenny, the act of collecting stones is an essential part of her process. Sometimes she searches for a specific rock to complete a piece she’s envisioned, and other times the design emerges from whatever she discovers along the way. That balance between intention and discovery shapes her work.

Her jewelry highlights the connection between nature and adornment, transforming simple, natural elements into pieces meant to be worn and enjoyed every day.

🛠️ Artist Spotlight: Juan Fried 🛠️

Juan Fried is both an architect and an artist, and that dual perspective shapes everything he makes. His jewelry explores the relationship between natural systems and built forms, drawing inspiration from rural Minnesota structures—barns, silos, and other functional buildings that support cycles of food, water, and fuel.

Working with recycled sterling silver, brass, and found steel, Juan cuts, folds, fuses, and hammers metal into wearable sculptures. Natural patinas and oxidized surfaces give each piece depth and texture, reflecting the landscape and materials that inspired it.

🎨 Artist Spotlight: Lyn Rein 🎨

Lyn Rein is a third-generation rosemaler from Faribault, MN, who grew up surrounded by the graceful art of rosemaling. Since 1997, Lyn has been studying this traditional Norwegian folk art alongside her mother, Donna Johnson, learning various styles and refining her technique. Lyn is captivated by the flowing designs and intricate color blending, inspiring her to continuously practice and evolve her stroke work and pattern designs.
