It might be cold now in Naples but Spring fishing will be here before you know it. Snook and redfish will really start to heat up going into March before switching gears later into March for the 1st big waves of tarpon hitting the beaches. Permit and cobia fishing should be great once this weather clears out in the next week or so. Now is a great time to get your trips booked

Happy New Yr to all my amazing friends and clients that allow me to do what I love everyday. 2025 was a good yr catching a bunch of big tarpon, getting my dream boat, having fun with family, amazing days on the water with great clients and traveling to new places. 2026 is going to be another epic yr and just a few months away from tarpon season 2026. Get on the books to get your dates it’s going to be a busy season and sunup to sundown there will be plenty of tarpon to play with. I’d also like to thank .fishing for supplying me with amazing reels that are built tough and meant to be fished hard

Always great having Ed on the boat catching fish and eating great sandwiches. Water temps dropped into mid 60s after the 1st big front but managed a slam with the redfish being his 1st fish of the fall. Had some fishy kids this afternoon slingin baits all over with some nice snook and the usual cold water jacks and ladies mixed in.

November is upon us and probably the last month for a shot at big tarpon as they make their ways south to warmer weather. Attention will turn to snook, redfish and trout in the backwaters while cobia, bonita, kingfish and big snook get going on the inshore wrecks and rock piles. If you are coming to Naples shoot me a message to get out in the water. Weather is perfect and the fishing is good

It’s been one hell of a October with lots of big tarpon, redfish but this massive snook this morning takes the cake. Ate a 12in mullet on .fishing 8000 Strive with 50lb braid. At 1st thought it was a smaller tarpon but head shakes were dead give away. Hooked quite few tarpon too just couldn’t keep one buttoned.

If you know me you know how much I love tarpon fishing no matter what time of yr it is. This yr we have a crazy amount of mullet and havent even got a cold front yet to get the tarpon heading south down the west coast of Fl. Things are setting up to be a great Fall tarpon run and the redfish have been chewing too. The next month should be prime time just need big tides, muddy water, and some hard north northeast winds.
