Sighted this beast while looking for Tarpon. Good thing we had the 10 wt. Got him skiff side and he went crazy and wrapped. Put the gloves on and brought him aboard to untangle, took a quick snap and got him quickly revived for a clean release. Never know what you're going to run into out there!

Is this heaven or the 10k Islands? Nothing beats a morning low tide, mingling with the Spoonbills and Ospreys deep in the 10k's in 5 inches of water when you spot that magnificent Red trolling the shoreline. I've come to appreciate the preparation and ex*****on it takes just to get the shot--landing a beauty like this is a bonus. What do you think?
