National Donut Day: The Only Tax Deduction You Can Eat
Tomorrow, June 5, is National Donut Day.
As accountants, we spend most of the year telling people they can't deduct things. Today, I bring better news: there are free donuts.
A few of the offers:
• Dunkin'' – Free donut with beverage purchase.
• Krispy Kreme Doughnuts – Free donut, no purchase necessary.
• Tim Hortons – Free donut with beverage purchase for Rewards members.
• Duck Donuts – Free classic donut, no purchase necessary.
• Shipley Do-Nuts – Free Original Glazed with purchase.
• LaMar's Donuts & Coffee – Free donut.
• 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes – 50¢ glazed donuts for Rewards members.
• Parlor Doughnuts – Free French Toast Layered Doughnut with purchase.
• Cub – 99¢ donuts for Rewards members June 5–7.
Fun fact: National Donut Day was created in 1938 by The Salvation Army to honor the "Donut Lassies" who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.
Have a donut.
