Still reeling from an amazing time in Santa Cruz at Mockingbird Lane Market’s Halfway to Halloween show in Santa Cruz, Ca. this past weekend! Met so many great people and have so much gratitude for those who supported me by buying my art!
Special thanks to those who bid on my art egg supporting NorCalBats of Northern California! They had 3 bats that needed to go the vet this week so the donations from the sales of bat themed art helped! 😍 Please consider donating to them if you can. Vet bills are expensive, especially for bats that are so small and delicate. They are crucial to our environment!

Tomorrow at The Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, Ca. I’ll be vending at ‘s Halfway to Halloween show and at my booth I’m going to have an auction item! This hand Dremel etched eggshell of fruit bats where 10% of the total auction will go to 🦇🦇🦇 There are many bat organizations I follow and have donated to, or am on their mailing lists. I’m choosing this non profit organization this time because they are closer to where I live and there aren’t many organizations in Northern California. I’m sure they go far and as wide as they are able with volunteers and donations, and as with most non profits, there’s probably never enough! This is a one of a kind creation.

I’ll be vending for Mockingbird Lane and Market on May 31st at the Grove in Santa Cruz for their Halfway to Halloween show! I’ll be selling prints, including my newest, Vincent Price, stickers, postcards, candles, etched eggs, and needle felted creations and more. Hope you’ll consider stopping by to see a large group of alternative artists in one spot, including me! ☺️

Back to work on a piece I started a couple of months ago that was set aside to do the Cherry Moon commission. Very excited to be working on this one of M1, , one half of the political hip hop duo dead prez fashioned after Jamaican Black nationalist leader, Marcus Garvey in an iconic image from 1922. Channeling respect for greatness as I go and savoring the process! Looking forward to sharing more about this piece!

It’s a Goth Moth! 😍 Okay, not really but that’s what I thought when I saw it and squealed with delight as I filmed it! It may be toxic but it’s beautiful!

The Cinnabar moth (Tyria jacobaeae) is a striking black and red moth, often mistaken for a butterfly, known for its toxic defense mechanism derived from its host plant, ragwort. 🖤❤️🖤
