Tell us about the first quilt you ever made.

The crooked seams. The fabric you'd never choose now. The person you gave it to. We want the whole story, wonky corners included.

Mine involved a great deal of confidence and very little measuring.

You may have heard me say that I've kept my first quilt to remind myself how far I've come....well, here it is along with the next two (clearly I wasn't into cutting fabric as they were all jelly roll quilts).

A Paris jelly roll from Joann's, a lack of pressing, the most inconsistent 1/4" seam and measure? Who measures? Look at those sides indenting! LOL To think that was just five years ago and now I design quilt patterns and love paper piecing - oh how far I've come!
