Yes, it was really bad. You can see why we had to close this week. Thanks to some great friends we are in the homestretch now. Metal goes on tomorrow and a little bit of siding and facia. Thank you Mother Nature for cooperating also. Three dump trailer loads of rotted wood and shingles are gone. All new wood. Done right.

I don’t think we can open on Thursday. We will definitely be open on Friday though.  Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Due to a major roof issue at the house I will have to keep the store closed for Tuesday and Wednesday. Sorry for the short notice.

Another early morning creeper. 3:34 AM. In the rain even. Dedicated. Didn’t try anything at our place. Still, very suspicious to be coming through the back at that time. Also, the person is dressed all in black. I know this camera doesn’t show that but the other ones do. Stay off of our property when it’s not business hours, unless you have permission. It’s that easy

I want to wish everybody a fantastic Memorial Day weekend.  Please make smart decisions and remember the reason we have this weekend.  we are going to be closed until Tuesday. We are going to enjoy some family time going fishing and getting our cottage opened up. See you on Tuesday!

Most criminals know that if you try to do anything by our building, you will get caught. Well, I guess these two juveniles didn’t know. Thanks to our cameras and a quick call to Massena Police department, these two were captured last night. Unfortunately, not before they did some damage next-door, but they were captured shortly thereafter.

Normally, I get waking up by cats in the middle of the night on my cameras. Tonight it was cat burglars.  When I was young when the 11 o’clock news came on, Irv Weinstein in Buffalo would ask “do you know where your children are?”. Parents, if you don’t know where your children are after 11 o’clock at night, then you’re doing it wrong. Sorry, but you need to be parents and put your foot down. Otherwise, your kids will get a criminal record and life will not be as easy for them later.

If you are awake, and up in my neighborhood of the store, watch your cameras. The bicycle bandits are back. More to follow, but we are secure. Massena PD is taking care of business. Make sure to lock everything. If you have any footage that is suspicious contact the police department. They can’t fix what they don’t know about.

We are open today until 4 PM. I will be closed from 11:50 am to 1 PM for a lunch meeting.
