Items #349–352 are dyed and headed to the rack to melt 🙌
Things I’ve learned while taking on a 352-piece tie-dye order that had to be completed in roughly 3 weeks immediately after arriving home for tie-dye season:
1. Don’t.
2. Having someone prewash your items for you will be absolutely clutch. Thanks Second Glance!
3. A gallon of textile detergent will go much further than you think.
4. A pound of dye will go a lot quicker than you think.
5. No matter what colors are in your colorway - if there’s pink or red involved, that’s the color you’ll end up dyeing yourself.
6. Your 7 cubic foot ice chest and your 100 lb/24-hour ice maker are a “cute size.” Upgrade… or prepare to buy ice 😂
7. Pandora + a good speaker = life support during a final push of 49 hoodies in one night.
8. Buy stock in Icy Hot.
And just like that… DONE.
Off for the next week to Great Wolf Lodge with the family—you’ll find me in the hot tub 🛁
