In November I took over this page. I’ve had so much fun connecting with you all, and connecting you with each other. So much history behind the Helen’s name, and crazy to think the longevity extends so far that some of you have twice the memories that I do.

Helen’s is the house that built me. From falling asleep in my highchair in a pile of spaghetti (picture might come later), riding big wheels in a big circle inside the old Helen’s with my brother while our parents cleaned after closing, my first job ever as a bus girl, server, and now owner.

I have witnessed it all. The good and the bad, the highs and the lows and everything in between. I watched my parents move through the uncertainty of the 2014 fire followed by business ownership during Covid. When asked the question, “Will you do it?” Even after seeing it all, my response, “How could I not?”

My husband Evan and I are incredibly thankful for the opportunity and know we have some seriously big shoes to fill. Thankful for the example that was set before us. Thankful for the solid crew that is here and established and are excited to grow alongside them.

Pictured here is 4 generations of Helen’s, and 50 years of family ownership. Joan (owner 1976-1988), Judy (owner 1988-2008), Julie and David (owners 2008-2026), Rianne and Evan (owners May 2026-), Jackson (line cook), and his 3 brothers who are current food and pie tasters.

For all the Helen’s memories that I hold close, I know that you each have your own. Here’s to the memories that lie ahead! 🤍
