Up next in the AMP iQ series. Let’s talk the gateway.

The gateway is the brain of your AMP iQ system. It’s what unlocks remote access, scheduling, automations, and firmware updates.

A few placement tips to get right on every install:

•Install the gateway first, before any fixtures. As each one joins the network, it’s automatically discovered and identified in the app.
•Keep it within 20 feet of the Wi-Fi router.
•Keep it within 75 feet of the nearest device, whether that’s a transformer, fixture, or repeater.
•Choose an interior location.
•The gateway isn’t rated for outdoor use.

Get that placement right and the whole system runs the way it’s supposed to.
