The World Coin Market seems stronger than the U.S. market , which is in itself in an upswing from the last few years! We will be going to London for Coinex sept 25 and then to the Coin shops in Paris. ( they have a “coin hood” believe it or not!When we return a synopsis of the World Coin market will be written ..Until then. Happy Collecting

Market Update.. The consensus at and after the FUN show was that the market has turned and it seems most everyone (that didn’t have the same inventory for the past couple years) had a great show! Prices for quality were very strong! The attitudes of most Dealers is this is a barometer of the market in an uptrend....The New York International show was another example of a strong market showing! The floor was buzzing and there was a lot of action. The auctions were very strong for quality world coins and it was a pleasure to purchase several WINGS approved coins at the show and a few in the auctions. It seems 2018 is the beginning of a turn around in the rare coin market and it is refreshing to hear how good things are from almost all the World Class Dealers I spoke to and dealt with....

Here is another Superb Gem from the Number One NGC Registry Set the LanDenMar collection. This Gem has a Cameo P-L look to the incredible surfaces. It is the Finest looking example that WINGS has ever viewed.. The eye appeal seems unsurpassable on this Gem.I It has received the WINGS Gold Sticker for the assigned grade the Quality that is just so prevalent on this coin is eye popping.

From the LanDenMar collection the two rarest dates of the Peru 100 Soles gold coin series. The 1952 has a mintage of 126 pieces the 1958 has only 101 pieces minted. Both are Top Pop and WINGS has affixed the Gold Sticker denoting Premium Quality for the assigned grade on these Super Rarities. The massive coins have 1.354 oz of gold and they also represent the largest gold coin series minted in the twentieth century from South America. The series was minted from 1950 thru 1970.
