The technique that I’m using in this bath is called Creamsicle and it is a combination of two colors pulled into the dropper together before going into the bath.
I love the effect it creates depending on the color combination. There are very unique and unexpected outcomes every time which makes it so fun to explore.
The color doesn’t combine when it goes into the bath, it spreads and bumps into the color next to it and for this particular textile, I used the River Pattern. This is many layers of color dropped in, then raked and fabric dipped.
This textile has been claimed and is not for sale however, custom color way development and marbling are available for future panels and projects. We work with designers, art directors and interior designers to create very unique textiles that can be turned into product like pillows, bags etc.
