I spent the day in the desert yesterday with some of my first-year students. A glorious and delightful day that couldn’t have been more beautiful. So profoundly grateful for these amazing people who I love with my whole entire heart, and for the sacred work I get to do.

On the wall at my gym. Coach Leo is always promising, never delivering—pizza, that is. Oh sure, I’ve gained over 5 pounds of lean mass in 3 months and recovered amazing mobility and strength Ive never before had, where two years ago I was walking with a cane, sure. BUT WHERE’S THE PIZZA, LEO????

Spent today hiking in the mountains, clear and crisp after the “rain” and one of the most gorgeous days I’ve seen in a long time. Soothes my soul, being outside with the trees.
