The Bicycle Stand is stocked with beautiful refurbished vintage road bikes, new city and commuter bikes and stylish bike accessories. The Bicycle Stand started three years ago in the living room of Nicole Maltz and Evan Whitener as a passion project for restoring French bicycles from the 1960's and 70's. There was something about the natural beauty and charming details of a classic bicycle that ma

de each project an individual character in our lives. Slowly as the parts built up, so did the idea of a full-on restoration studio. French bikes turned into Italian bikes, and Italian bikes turned into Dutch commuters - we could never get enough. And so here we are, young and filled with energy looking to share the adventures with all of you!

New Cannondale Flying V coming in hot. Taking inspiration the 90’s hallmark Cannondale reinterpreted the Flying V into an ultralight full carbon e-bike. This bike is 28mph capable with Bosch integrated systems such as lighting and walk assist. The bike has a carbon fenders and rack to make this thing very practical. Amazing bike, happy new bike day John!

We recently completed a full restoration on this Jack Taylor and we were so impressed with how smooth this bike rides! Immediate comfort and a quiet stable ride with no buzzing or busy-ness. The type of bike it would be easy to spend all day on. A wide range double crankset paired to a 32t rear freewheel gives a 1:1 low gear. Mafac cantis, Rene Herse tires, and modified Campagnolo derailleurs are nod to the past, while TRP levers are the on concession@to modern comfort that was made.

The original livery was duplicated and we refreshed the kit a bit. We were glad to work on such an amazing project. Thank you for the trust. Now go out and ride it!

We recently completed this Colnago Arabesque for a client and it’s definitely worth sharing. The Arabesque is know for its decorative lugs and crimped tube set, which was further elevated by a completely pantographed Campagnolo groupset. Corima carbon wheels add a bit more Euro flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed building this one.

Titanium bikes are amazing to ride and look at but have quirks all their own. Bottom bracket creaks and seatpost clicks are common complaints even on the highest level equipment. Proper setup materials and careful torque specifications can do wonders to solve these types of issues. We are here for it! This Enigma is absolutely bonkers and we were happy to get rid of those weird titanium noises.

This Colnago Super was built for the 1983 National bicycle show here in Long Beach California. It is incredibly interesting as it shares history between Italy and California. The bike was shipped to Marcel Calborn a leading US Colnago importer to be designed to the taste of the US market and specifically Californians. A Rubystone red rather than the traditional Colnago Rosso Corsa was applied by Jim Cunningham of CycleArt. The fork was gold plated and a 50th anniversary groupset was selected. After its show the bike was left to Marcels care where it hung on the wall and was only ridden for special occasions. It is now being offered for sale with its original chain and matching freewheel (not pictured). Size 56 Ctc square. Please DM for price and any further questions.
