I frequently feel the need to apologize for not doing more, or the need to vent about the challenges great and small that come up for my little bookstore (the plumbing saga does continue!) but it means I’m not spending enough time on the joy.
Here’s some of the great stuff going on lately:
🎉My kiddo turned 5! And she had her birthday party in the bookshop. 16 kids ages 3-5 and their grownups made for the most glorious chaos.
💣Our DCC sale made it possible for so many readers to embrace this series that has been a staple of the shop thanks to Jamie who has been hyping it up for over a year now. I’m still in book 3 because of a lack of time to read, but it won’t be that way forever!
🪴You voted for Betty Green as the name of our beautiful monstera with 83% of the poll. Betty rewarded us paying so much attention to her with a new leaf. Betty would love it you came and told her how lovely she is.
🏳️🌈We’re getting ready for this Saturday! I have a lot of big feelings about my beloved Q***r community this year, more than usual, and I just can’t wait to celebrate the good the stuff❤️
