Elderly Instruments is a musical instrument retailer in Lansing, Michigan that specializes in new and vintage fretted instruments, including acoustic and electric guitars, ukuleles, banjos, basses and mandolins. We maintains a selection of odd and rare instruments and we are known as a premier repair shop for fretted instruments, as one of the larger vintage instrument dealers in the United States

. Industry publications, music retail trade, and bluegrass music journals have featured articles about the Elderly shop and the repair staff. We also provides consignment services for rare and vintage instruments. Since its founding in 1972, Elderly has undergone two major expansions: into mail order in 1975 and then into Internet sales in the 1990s. Today it is recognized internationally for its services and products.

One of the first commercially successful electric instruments, the EH-150 was introduced by Gibson in 1936 alongside the ES-150 archtop as part of their first coordinated electric line. The early "Charlie Christian" blade-style pickup fitted to these instruments remains one of the most celebrated pickups ever made. Sunburst lacquer finish, maple body, and neck. Comes with original Geib tweed hardshell case.

This 2023 Fender American Professional II Jazz Bass features a classic Olympic white finish on an Alder body, bolt-on maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with two V-Mod II single-coil Jazz Bass pickups and standard controls. Loaded with a HiMass 4-saddle bridge and lightweight Fender tuning machines. Original thermoplastic case included.

Introduced in 1955 as a step up from the Les Paul Junior, the Special quickly found favor among players who wanted the straightforward approach of a Junior with added versatility. The TV Yellow finish became so closely associated with the model that it took on a life of its own, and today it's one of the most recognizable finishes in guitar history. From Leslie West and Johnny Thunders to Bob Marley and Billie Joe Armstrong, the Special has always attracted players who value simplicity and directness over ornamentation. At the heart of it are a pair of P-90 pickups, delivering biting, lead-friendly tones at the bridge and a warmer, rounder palette at the neck. Slab mahogany body, 50s Vintage neck profile, and Wraparound bridge round out this streamlined package. A hardshell case is included.

The SJ-200 began its life in 1937 as a custom request from Hollywood singing cowboy Ray Whitley, who wanted a flat-top with the size and presence of Gibson's grand archtops. Gibson delivered, and it has been one of the most recognizable acoustics in the world ever since. From Roy Rogers and Elvis to Pete Townshend, Bob Dylan, and Emmylou Harris, the SJ-200 has found its way into the hands of artists across nearly every genre. Flamed maple back and sides, solid Sitka spruce top, the iconic Moustache bridge with mother-of-pearl inlays, and graduated crown fretboard inlays make this one of the most visually striking acoustics Gibson produces.
