The Tackett’s Mill Farmers Market has been part of our center for nearly ten years. We truly appreciate your support and the friendships we’ve built along the way. Now, we’re excited to share something new that we’ve been planning for the past few months. Starting Saturday, August 22nd, we’ll host a Community Market every third Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is NOT a Farmers Market. We’re inviting vendors who offer vintage clothing, handcrafted goods, antiques, and
specialty items. We do have limited slots for food vendors, but vendors of the aforementioned categories are prioritized. If you’re a vendor interested in participating, please complete the application at the following link.

Kim B Miller, a TEDx speaker, is leading a three-hour workshop called Command the Room on Saturday, May 30th from 12:30 -3:30 PM at Clearbrook Center of the Arts.

This isn't about becoming a polished presenter overnight. It's about learning to organize your thoughts so people actually understand what you're trying to say. How to manage that racing heart when you need to speak up. How to connect with people whether you're talking to three colleagues or thirty.

AIM Human Performance is organizing a group hike Friday, May 29th. This hike is approximately 1.5 miles with 100 feet of elevation gain. What makes this even better is where it sits. Four miles from Harpers Ferry, so you can wander through Civil War history afterward, or take the scenic route home through all those tucked-away vineyards that make the Piedmont region feel like a secret.

This hike is part of their work with people navigating Parkinson's and movement challenges, which means this will be the kind of walk where everyone looks out for each other. The kind of community experience that reminds you why getting outside with other people matters.
