The Primal Beehives are here, assembled, and ready to go!
We currently have the following configurations in stock:

2 - Starter Kits with (2) Deep Supers

2 - Starter Kits with (3) Medium Supers

1 - Standard Hive with (2) Deep Supers

1 - Standard Hive with (3) Medium Supers
The Deep Starter Kits include:

1 Brood box (equivalent to 2-3/4 deep Langstroth deep boxes), 2 Deep Langstroth Hive Boxes (assembled), 8 plastic brood frames with plastic foundation (already assembled), tie-down strap, entrance inserts, feeder/inner cover, hive tool for the brood box and spare parts.
The Medium Starter Kits include:

1 Brood box (equivalent to 2-3/4 deep Langstroth deep boxes), 3 Medium Langstroth Hive Boxes (assembled), 8 plastic brood frames with plastic foundation (already assembled), tie-down strap, entrance inserts, feeder/inner cover, hive tool for the brood box and spare parts.
The Standard Hives for Deep and Medium include everything the starter kits have, except the Hive Tool.

Due to bad weather, The Bee Store will be closed on Sunday, January 26th.

The VDAC Beehive Distribution Program is open starting today and will be collecting applicants up until September 10th 2025.
Make sure that you read it carefully before applying. This is only for the beehive boxes, you still need to add the bees.

Observation Hive update 9 July 2025

We picked up another wandering swarm into our observation hive about 3 weeks ago, so we've had 2 queens living near each-other. In some cases within 3 inches of each-other.

Although this is a very rare occurrence, this has happened at the bee store in the past.

We are watching them closely, but they seem to be working things out between them, for now.
