Shelly just completed the Tamarack Jacket by Grainline Studio!!🧵🧥
She wanted a little extra cozy, so she downloaded the Hood and Collar add-on pattern online to level it up. The fabric is a dream combo of Ruby Star Society and Kona Cotton with cotton batting. 🌸✨
This jacket was a labor of love! The Bernina 735 absolutely crushed it! Here is a breakdown of the maker magic that brought it all together:
🛠️ The Tech Specs:
The Quilting & Construction: Done entirely with the Bernina Walking Foot ( #50) for perfectly even layers.
The Binding: Created 1” binding using the Clover 25mm bias tape maker (a total game-changer for speed!).
The Hardware: Flawless buttonholes thanks to the Automatic Buttonhole Foot ( ), and the buttons were effortlessly attached using the Button Sew-On Foot ( #18).
The Custom Label: Designed on Canva, then traced onto fabric using a Pentel Gel Roller fabric pen and a light table for that perfect, personalized finish.🖨️✍️
