Come in for Healthy Garden Vegetable Plants
If you found yourself at a box store or hardware store this past holiday weekend for a home project (I know I did!), you may have wandered through the garden center too. Unfortunately, what I saw at the big box stores made me a little queasy. The plants that were heat stressed, water stressed, wilted, and dry, looking like they hadn’t been watered in days. Sadly, plants in that condition aren’t likely to bounce back.
The good news? Our plants are happy, healthy, and thriving, and we still have an excellent selection ready for your garden. Some of our tomato and pepper plants are already so big they’re fruiting, so don’t think you’ve missed your chance to get growing. With May’s cold, wet start, if you feel behind on planting, you’re not.
