Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated our Birthday Bash with us this weekend! We had such a blast spending the day with all of you and seeing the store full of books, coffee, crafts, conversations, and so much community.

A huge thank you as well to our amazing local vendors and authors who helped make the day so special. We love getting to share their talents with all of you and are so grateful they celebrated with us.

We’re SO excited to welcome two local authors to Booklegger’s Birthday Bash this Saturday!

At 11 AM, Katie Zuspan (author of the Riley’s Red Car series) will be doing a special children’s reading, followed by a booth where she’ll be signing and selling her books! Perfect for your little readers!

Then from 1–4 PM, local author Charles Farley will be joining us to sign copies of Hotel Monte Sano along with his mystery trilogy! If you love local stories, suspense, and meeting the authors behind the books, you won’t want to miss it.

Come celebrate with us, meet some incredible local talent, and spend the day surrounded by books, coffee, crafts, and all the cozy bookstore vibes!

A year ago, two friends who simply loved books took a leap of faith to keep a little piece of Huntsville magic alive. 📚🤍

Since 1985, Booklegger has been part of this community’s story, and we are beyond honored to continue that legacy and keep these doors open for readers, dreamers, coffee lovers, families, and creatives alike.

In just one year, this place has grown into so much more than a bookstore. From launching our coffee bar with locally roasted coffee beans & tea ☕️ to filling our shelves with handmade goods from incredible local vendors you truly can’t find anywhere else, every corner of Booklegger now holds a piece of our community in it.

But our favorite part? The people. The conversations between the shelves. The events. The friendships. The kids growing up here. The way Huntsville has embraced and built this with us.

So come celebrate with us at our Birthday Bash on May 30th 🎉

Expect local vendors, giveaways, bookstore specials, author signings, crafts, farm animals, coffee, and all the cozy chaotic bookstore energy we love so much.
