This weekend is packed with garage sales here in Rolling Ridge and Ravines of Rolling Ridge, and wow… there are so many happening already today! 🏷️✨

While you’re out hunting for treasures, be sure to stop by the Little Free Library at the park. There are lots of wonderful books for all ages waiting inside!

Sharing because as soon as I put in any “I Survived” books, they are gone 😅

How neat is this? Love this series for helping kids understand history!

This is going to be BIG!

2 Dandelions Bookshop is one of only 10 selected to host this event from bookstores all across the COUNTRY that celebrates the I Survived book series by Lauren Tarshis as well as the 250th birthday of America!

This will be a hands-on, interactive event that dives into real historical events, sure to be fun for the whole family - complete with a spinning trivia wheel, photo op, activity sheets, games, raffles, and SO much more!

Definitely put this on your calendar: Saturday, June 13 from 12-4:00.

We hope to be on the patio for this event, but it will happen rain or shine, moving indoors as needed.

The week started off tough… someone intentionally vandalized the Little Free Library and the plexiglass needed to be replaced. I’ve poured a lot of love (and money 😅) into it over the years, so it was definitely a little heartbreaking to see.

But still we rise 🔥

She’s back with freshly installed Lexan glass thanks to the hubby and my son, and she’s freshly stocked and getting ready to celebrate her third birthday this week 💗

Read on, friends and neighbors — please help us keep an eye on her as more kids play at the park this summer! 🥳

Happy (almost) Mother’s Day weekend from our Little Free Library 💐💛

In honor of celebrating community, connection, and all the little joys that bring people together, we’re trying something new…

There’s now a small bag for trinket trading! Tiny treasures, stickers, charms, little handmade goodies — take one, leave one, and see what fun finds their way through the neighborhood.

Not sure if it’ll last, but we thought it would be fun to give it a try and see where it goes 😊
