A message from Pete Schaaphok : Thank you to everyone that attended MetalFest. Thank you for donating canned food to the Salvation Army (8 barrels). Over 750 in attendance! Many vendors (Mayar’s Meat Market, Vato’s Brand, Part Time Pleasure Guitars) and several giveaways. Those pictured worked the hardest. I couldn’t do this without them. They help me keep this event going. The role my wife filled for many years. Our sponsors; Oddfellows, HARD, Orange, Tama, ESP, Roland, Meinl, Ibanez, City of Hayward (Thank you Mayor Mark Salinas for attending), Hayward Amplified (with the Big “H”), our friends RN Sound (arrive early and stay late), and Music Depot. Lastly, can’t have a music festival without music. Thank you Blind Illusion our headliner, Frolic main support, with Cultural Warfare, Short Fuse, Creepo, and opening Successor.
