☀️☕️📚Saturday is percolating with positivity!

11am— Storytime with Akialah Ansar, local school librarian, and creator of an affirmation deck to help children build positive self-talk while creating meaningful moments of connection with the adults in their lives— how perfect for back to school!
Akialah will be with us until 12:30pm.

After 3pm’s CoffeeHop(link in LitHop’s bio for tickets), a conga line through our downtown cafes with a dollop of spoken word at each stop….

5-7pm: we’re open extra long for Open Mic hosted by our very own Matthew Sobin! Share what you’re working on, or join us to listen and appreciate our local talent— see you at the shop Saturday, B-loveds!

11am, nature photographer Elaine Miller Bond, author of ‘BFFs! Black-Footed Ferrets: Love for One of North America’s Most Endangered Mammals’, is our celebrity storyteller for kiddos— and will be available to chat with all ages about what it’s like to have the dream job of photographing critters in the wild until 12:30!

11am: Storytime with the actual author!
wrote ‘I Am Enough Just As I Am’ for her granddaughter, and shares it with us— so perfect to prepare for back-to-school jitters for littles and bigs!

5pm: Open Mic hosted by author ! Come to listen and/or sign up and share your poetry and other wordsmithing; this is a kind space for all ages and levels.
