During the fall we are busy with wild game season but we got to take a break to welcome the newest member of the Butcher Block family. Kolton and Ivie are the proud parents of their beautiful new daughter Sutton. The night this picture was taken she was in the shop “helping” daddy skin his deer, we like to start them young! I would imagine next year she’ll be helping mom and dad make your elk meat sticks 😍

Main Street through Gooding is torn up and 3rd Avenue is temporarily closed. You can easily get to us with your trailers if you go North through town, cross the railroad tracks and turn west towards the fairgrounds. Just stay on the south side of the fairgrounds/arena and you’ll see us on your left. Hopefully this detour won’t last too long and safe travels!

We took our grandsons to the livestock sale the other day and while watching the calves go through the ring our 3 year old grandson looked up and said “wait, are we going to cut these up at Butcher Block?” We sure hope so eventually!

If you’re headed out looking for that big one this weekend keep us in mind. Our after hours number is on our voice mail recording so give us a call to schedule a time to drop off your wild game for processing. And we’re fully stocked at McGuire’s Pantry with bratwurst and bacon for your hunt camp.

I’ll never forget that morning. I was outside doing chores when I heard it on the radio but I wasn’t sure if I heard correctly. I went in the house and turned on the tv then couldn’t turn it off all day. I couldn’t believe what had happened. Thank you to those that sacrificed then and to those that continue to sacrifice and fight for our freedoms. 🇺🇸💪🏼❤️🤍💙

It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of day to day work but we never take your friendship and loyalty for granted. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We had some pretty cute “help” to process your Blaine County fair animals last Sunday. The kids/grandkids got to end the day with a trip to McGuire’s Pantry for some goodies before going home.
