Signs of All Trades would like to announce that we are going out of business. We have been open nearly 9 years and want to thank our loyal customers and the friends we've made over the years.

We are aware many of you will ask why--please understand that there are many factors that led to our decision: harassment by city officials, the increasing number of thefts, the increase in product and labor; yet not enough workers and not enough profit to hire more, and expensive water utility bills; in addition to a few other factors.

We will continue to accept donations, though, for the Deaf youth program (Deaf Ambassadors of Idaho). Contact us to pick up items or drop off donations at 1221 Nevada Street. **PLEASE LEAVE DONATIONS IN THE CARPORT, NOT IN THE DRIVEWAY OR YARD** Receipts are available upon request for tax purposes.

Thank you, again, for nearly 9 years of business and love.

Today is Wednesday, the middle of Signs of All Trades' typical work week. So far, this week, I have received 177 boxes, 85 trash bags, 55 pieces of furniture, 31 large items (appliances, garden tools, etc), and several piles of stuff--as donations to my store. We appreciate the support that we get from this community and it goes toward good causes in town. We always try to support all fundraisers, campaigns, and activities in town. However, we want to share a few tips.

Please do NOT donate the following: torn and stained clothing, dirty clothing (p*e stained, covered with dog/cat p**p, etc), broken items that cannot be repaired, furniture that is not in good shape (bad stains, torn up couches, beds with bedbugs or big stains, beds that are squashed up, wooden furniture that are beyond repair), used underwear (bras are ok), trash (you'd be surprised how many bags of trash we get), used pads/tampons and s*x toys, or broken glass or ceramic items.

We spend a lot of time just cleaning out these items. Our trash can fills up almost daily. We make trips to the dump yard near Wendell almost every week.

Please do NOT dump items at Alan's home. We have turned away items mentioned above only to find them dumped at Alan's house.

This creates issues for us as we are always trying to catch up on our regular store duties on top of dealing with all of this.

Thank you for reading this long post. Have a great day--Signs of All Trades
