Well, I’m finally going for it! I’m starting my journey with Farmasi ❣️

As someone who has always loved all things beauty, but never really knew what that could look like I’m excited to have found something that seems to be a great fit for me 😊 As a girl who is an easy, every day type of make up girl finding quality and affordable products is a huge win!

I’m ready to feel confident in my own skin, create a genuine community of women who support each other, plus do something just for me, all while learning along the way 🥰

The past 10 days or so have been brutal for our family. We will share in time, but we need all the prayers, good vibes, energy, juju, anything ya got for us. Trying to see the good in each day and taking today to try to reset and get ready for what’s to come in the next few weeks.

2020 did me dirty! We had moved from California, where I was born and raised, to Dallas 6 weeks before lockdown. I cried every single day for almost a year. I also ate, a LOT! Looking back at pictures from that time is hard. Hard to know I allowed myself to get so out of control and hard to see the damage I had done to my health.

In December of 2021 we moved to Colorado, where for over a year I continued down an unhealthy path, until a visit to my dr and a casual comment about my weight prompted her to ask me if I was open to medication to help. I hadn’t ever thought about it before, but at that point, what did I have to lose, other than weight? My insurance wouldn’t approve injections until we had tried an oral option first. I lost a whopping 8 lbs over 5 months, and part of that was from me getting a stomach bug during that time!

In May 2023 I was finally prescribed Wegovy, when I tell you it was life changing I am not exaggerating a bit! Over that following year I lost almost 86 pounds. I did get to a point that I felt I was too small and wasn’t feeling great. With the help of a nutritionist I gained some healthy weight. I learned how to love moving my body (something I’ve lost since moving to Tennessee, but this is my goal again!), learned to love fruit and veggies again and learned to love me again.

Weight loss medications aren’t for everyone, and that’s ok! We are all on our own journeys, I chose the one that worked best for me and my health.

My journey is not over, I have some goals for myself and my health that I am determined to meet. I just have to get out of my own way!

We went to see Earth Wind and Fire last night, such a great show in a gorgeous venue 🎷🥁🪘🎤🪊🎺
