Another shop in DT Franklin closing! Very sad to see the stores that built DT Franklin into what it is today being pushed out. When will it stop?!?! No one wants another store to expand into 2 stores. Stop the madness!!! You’re driving away business.

So very sad to hear of another one of downtown Franklin's children's businesses closing because of greed!

Generations of shoppers have found baby gifts and other items at For Every Child in downtown Franklin for the last 27 years.

Can't even begin to tell you all how much I miss opening the doors of the toy store this morning to a line of customers waiting to shop. The excitement of the littlest customers and the mindful shopping done by families supporting our small business. This year has been incredibly hard and I've missed all of you so very much. Thankful for the time I had it and wish more than anything I was there to greet you all this morning. From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for the joy you brought us.

Empty! It's not the toy store any more, it's just a place I call a shell. This shell holds some wonderful memories, many before our son Matt passed away and many more after. It may be empty and it may change in the days to come but to me it will always be Main Street Toy Shoppe. Y'all have become family and that is what I will miss the most....our sweet little toy store's family. We are thankful for the time we've had, chapters aren't easy to end but there is always anticipation for the journey ahead. Not sure what that looks like yet but one think you can count on, I can't sit still for long. I will update often and let you all know if we find a new place to reopen the store. Here are a few pics of the store you often could rarely move in and also a picture of our son Matt. It was the last thing that we removed from the store and his little brother Ryan wanted the honor of doing it. Love to you all!! Now I'm gonna breathe.😘😘

MAKE OFFER or PLEASE SHARE!
These are the final 2 pieces we are needing to find a home for and I do not want to put these in storage. The shelves are all adjustable and we have 4 additional ones that go with them. We also have a box of silver pegs that work in the slat wall. Measurements are 102" and 90". They are 48" each in width and 16.5" deep. I'd prefer they go together and we've been asking $400 for the pair or $225 each. At this point we are willing to consider any reasonable offers. Would have to be picked up tomorrow or Tuesday. We have a large dolly to get it out of the store. Both in great condition.

These sweet ladies were the last official customers of Main Street Toy Shoppe (2005-2016). I choked up asking them if they would please take a picture we me. It's been an amazing journey and we are so very grateful for the memories we have and the wonderful friends we've made along the way. We can't thank you enough for the support since announcing our closing. You all have blessed us in so many ways. Main Street Toy Shoppe at 412 Main St Franklin, 37064. Final 2 days, we still have some decor for Easter (& other holidays), racks, displays, shelving units and a few toys. We are open today, Friday, from 10-2 and tomorrow 10-2. Everything left must go or it will be donated to a local non-profit. Prices on many items have been dropped. Here are the specific racks/displays available.
