Last call to sign up for summer Dungeons and Dragons!

Back by popular demand!

Summer kids Dungeons and Dragons!!!

Here’s the details:

•ages 10+ (ask us if you have a younger child we may be able to accommodate)
•cost $25 - includes a set of dice to play with and keep
•4 weeks of game play at the store - 2 hour sessions in August during store hours
•group of 5-6 players

If a child participated last year, there will be a new campaign and they can use their character from last year or create a new character!

Please email us if you have an interested child and we will send more information in mid may once we have an idea of how many kids are interested!

Thank you everyone for a wonderful Canal Day weekend!

Thank you for supporting of Pride Tent, local author , and !

We had so much fun spreading joy and information!

Thank you to Nicole for helping us organize this event and look for more information for getting a bigger event in Fairport/Perinton in the future! If you’d like to be involved with the planning please let us know!

And thank you to everyone who participated in our interactive art project! We can’t wait to have this Little Free Library on the porch of our new bookstore when we move on July 1st!

We are very excited for Canal Days this year and the addition of the Fairport Pride Tent - right outside our store! We hope this is the start of something much bigger in our community!

Here is the schedule:

Saturday

Rochester Rainbow Union Table - all day

Sunday

Lydia Nightingale - local author of “Drawn” 10-1
Flower City Pride Band Table 1-3
Trillium Health Table - all day

Both days

chalk art, temporary tattoos, bracelet making, face painting, interactive art and giveaways!

The store will also be open for all you book shopping needs!

New release Tuesday!

Big new release day!

Signed copies of lots of great books this week including, Ann Patchett’s newest novel “Whistler”, “Road Trip” and “The Tea Dragon Society” by K. O’Neill!

Ann Patchett needs no introduction - this one is another masterpiece!

Mary Kay Andrews is an icon and I won’t have anyone say otherwise. You have to check out her social media. I live for her WTAF Wednesday posts. Plus she writes a beach read that you will love!

The Tea Dragon Society is previous indie graphic novel series - it’s a wonderful cozy fantasy series for middle grade readers!

Also new this week for kids, a new Invesigators, “The Dragon Post”, which a fun, interactive picture book I Love!

For adults, a new Maggie O’Farrell “Land”, a fun LGBTQ mystery, “The Disaster Gay Detective Agency” by Lev AC Rosen and so much more!

Arguably one of the best new releases of the week, YA historical fiction favorite, Ruta Sepetys launches her adult debut this week and we have signed copies!
