CONGRATULATIONS to our 16th Annual Dam Ducky Derby 1st Place winners!! 🎉

Maggie Montgomery’s lucky duck #6 won $2000 in the new Big Buck Duck race. “Oh my gosh I can’t believe it! Thank you! I’ve bought ducks every year since I’ve lived here and never won anything before.” Maggie lives right here in Evergreen.

And congratulations to Luna and Leo Huet! (Pictured) They are the 1st place winners in the Classic Duck race and get $1,500! The Huet family bought a 6 Quack pack and lucky Duck #4646 was actually the FIRST Duck to come through the finish line beating out all the Big Buck Ducks even with a 10 minute later start time. What a fast Duck!! The Huet Family is from Centennial, CO and love visiting Downtown Evergreen.

We couldn’t be happier for our Dam Ducky Derby winners! Enjoy your winnings. And we’ll see you all next year, August 7th, 2027, for the next Derby in Downtown Evergreen! 🐥💛🌲

Thank you everyone for coming out to our 16th annual Dam Ducky Derby in Downtown Evergreen! It was amazing! We sold over 7,400 ducks and we can’t thank you enough for your support. Proceeds go to our fabulous Downtown Evergreen events such as the Holiday Walk, Second Saturdays and more. Also to beautification and other projects that boost the vitality of our charming downtown.

Our pre-drop festivities start at 11am. And, the big drop is at 1pm.
