Heads up, neighbors - downtown Elk River is getting some much-needed upgrades starting the week of June 8th.🚧
So here’s your chance to test your parallel parking skills AND to show up for local businesses!
What to expect:
A small portion of Main Street will be closed Monday, June 8 through at least Wednesday, June 10.
This closure is a part of the sanitary sewer work being completed for the Downtown Parking Lot Improvement Project.
A posted detour will lead traffic onto Highway 10. Access to the upper and lower level lots on the south side will remain open, along with business and residential access.
We’ve been here before, and we know how this goes: a little inconvenience now, a better downtown later!
