Today, the Bookworm operates in a corner space in the busy Riverwalk shopping center, but the store came from humble beginnings. The Bookworm of Edwards was founded in 1996 in a retro-fitted van that traveled between coffee shops selling new books to “down-valley” readers. In 2002, Nicole Magistro was hired as a part-time bookseller, and, in 2005, she bought out one of the original owners. In 2007

, the Bookworm moved to its current Riverwalk location (and opened the cafe), and it expanded again in 2010! Here's how! 📅 Check out what's going on at The Bookworm in June; there's something for everyone!

🚣‍♀ Starting on Wednesday, June 3rd at 6pm, hear from Susan Norman, a National and World Champion in both whitewater kayaking and rafting, about her memoir RISK, a compelling narrative about her connection to wild rivers, and how the journey heals her past and current childhood trauma.

🀄 The next night, Thursday, June 4th at 5pm, is our 3rd night. We are currently sold out of beginner tickets, but have a few intermediate spots left.

🏜 Then on Tuesday, June 9th at 6pm, celebrate the latest release in Colorado author Scott Graham's National Park Mystery Series, GREAT SAND DUNES MASSACRE, which is set at that park.

📚 The following night, Wednesday, June 10th at 5:15pm, join our Women's Voices Book Club for a discussion of Sadeqa Johnson's KEEPER OF LOST CHILDREN. The author will join virtually for Q&A.
