Cool vid. Oddly no live footage but the interviews are great, the music (all classic 1967 Traffic) is fantastic of course. And the footage inside the legendary cottage - to which they retreated to get their music and heads together in the country, ala The Band - is amazing.

60s Traffic isn't celebrated by today's music fans like, for example, Soft Machine. But it's very similar and just as good. It's the same sort of Brit 67 psych as Pink Floyd but adding a bit of jazz and moving toward Progressive Rock. The path as the Softs.

1967 was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. (Even if I like 1966 better!). In the UK you have the pillars of Brit Psych: Sgt Peppers, SF Sorrow and Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. As well as Tomorrow, July, Kaleidoscope. And dozens of more obscure-yet-still-classic LPs.

Awesome music and interview, and not just for the virtuoso American Primitive Guitar. John's social style (nowadays would be called autistic) makes him appear strange and almost rude. But that's what made him the way he was. A true individual and an American treasure.
