Eden Hand Arts is now hiring! Positions include seasonal help with a wide range of tasks and also possibly full time apprenticeships, no experience necessary. If interested please email Sarah at [email protected] telling us your goals, scheduling requirements, why you’d like to work for us, and your previous employment (a resume if you have one). If a position is open, we will contact you.

Since 1963, Eden Hand Arts has been a family-owned business which makes and sells jewelry and pottery. Until Labor Day, part-time help is especially needed with yard work, preparing the shop and items for sale, packing and sorting, in-person sales and customer service, The work location is Dennis, MA.

Thank you to all whose appreciation of our art helps make Eden Hand Arts® special.

Eden Hand Arts® is now closed for the season (Eden’s® Etsy shop will be “on vacation” as of August 31, 2025) so we can focus on shipping returns and designing and making everything we sell. We will not be replying to any emails while we are closed.

Some things to know:
1. If you need to exchange an Etsy order, or need to get in touch with us regarding an Etsy purchase, return, or exchange for size (within the 30 day window from time of receipt of package as set forth by Etsy) please contact us through our Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/edenhandarts.
2. If you request a replacement for size, it’s possible your item will need to be made to order specifically for you. Depending on current orders, this could take up to 3 months to receive. If you do not want to wait for a new item to be made, please choose the refund.
3. Earrings are NOT returnable by state laws and CANNOT be returned. Please do not mail back earrings.
4. We never sell tags through the mail, or through Etsy, or are able to fulfil any special gift requests when open or closed.
5. We do not open when we are closed (no matter how sweetly you ask.)

Check our website to see when we will reopen and when tickets (for pre 2025 purchases only) will be available to book. While tickets will probably be required when we reopen, they are now much easier to book.

Honoring our roots, which are key to our fundamental identity and listening to customer feedback, Eden Hand Arts® has opened a new online Etsy shop (US sales) https://www.etsy.com/shop/edenhandarts to sell our jewelry that, as always, will be made by hand open on July 2. Please see our website https://edenhandarts.info/jewelry-etsy/ for more information.
For Summer 2025, an "inside" ticket (for only pottery) will still be required for now, as it remains a tiny place in a residential area with very limited parking. "Outside" tickets will be needed for the outside "T.R.E.E" line for Tags, Repairs, Exchanges for size, and Exchanges for refund for pre 2025 jewelry purchases. The shop is open July 2 - August 30 (closed July 4th) Wednesday through Saturday, 10am - 4pm. Both kinds of free tickets will be available and MUCH easier to book on our Visiting Page.We do not exchange or refund previously worn jewelry, the item must be in new, unworn condition.

Honoring our roots, which are key to our fundamental identity, and listening to customer feedback on the intense dislike of our ticketing system (also shared by staff and owners), Eden Hand Arts® will open a new online Etsy shop to sell our jewelry that, as always, we will have made by hand https://edenhandarts.info/visiting/.
Starting July 2, 2025, the Eden Hand Arts® Shop at Etsy, which is the only place to buy our jewelry, will be opening. Also opening will be our physical location on Rt. 6A in Dennis, MA where our pottery and other art (no jewelry) will be sold. As usual we will be open Wed-Sat 10am-4pm, until Aug 30 (closed July 4th). Outside, on the grounds of the physical shop, we will also assist with pre-2025 jewelry purchases for which customers need a replacement tag (closed Cape Cod Screwball® bracelets only) or a repair or would like to exchange new, unworn jewelry for a different size (of the same style) or a refund with dated receipt..

Eden Hand Arts is currently in a transition period that will affect tickets, with the intention to preserve our legacy. Realizing the goals of making Eden both sustainable for the future and a beautiful and joyful environment requires moving in a different direction. Changes in the planning stages are intended to reduce chaos, traffic, and stress for staff and customers. They are also designed to support the unique creativity, innovation, hard work, and integrity we've strived for, and which you've come to expect from us, since opening our shop in 1964.

Like trees with branches that can easily move and thereby withstand hurricane winds, the exciting and wonderful thing about this process is that it builds in flexibility to ensure our survival for years to come.

Our intention is that Eden is a place that exemplifies a healthy community like a pebble in a pond with the outer ripples being some customers and tradespeople with whom we become friendly. For those who might be interested, we are looking for help from a carpenter who loves old houses, a plumber, and electrician. We also are in need of a literary agent because we have a few good books on a variety of subjects we'd like to try to get published. If interested, PM us.While recommendations are thoughtful, we are hoping to hear from interested tradespeople or agents directly.

EDEN will be CLOSED for 2020.
Notice: Due to the Covid19 virus, Eden Hand Arts will be closed for the entire 2020, both summer and Fall season. The reason for this extreme decision is:
Eden is so small that there is no way we can open with social distancing for either staff or customers
almost all of us have multiple risk factors,
and all projections are another wave in the Fall.
We are intending and hoping to be open, one way or another, for the 2021 summer season. Until then we are sorry but we can not do ANY business until 2021, through any means including not through the mail; not send a tag, not exchange for size, not that special gift. We hope you understand.

During this time we will be hoping for inspiration to lead to exciting new designs and creative expression.
Please stay safe and healthy and strengthen the bond that connect each of us with our loved ones. In the end that is what is really matters.
